Enhancing Frequency: Resolving Doubt

AIM ProgramEnhancing Frequencies, Founder Article, Stephen Lewis

In order to be of the greatest benefit, enhancing frequencies must be consciously chosen. If you have an energetic imbalance, whether it is a frequency of MS, or cancer or a toenail fungus, as an AIM participant, your higher self will automatically select the balancing energies you need to help you self-heal as a matter of basic instinct or survival. But there is no automatic selection in regard to the AIM enhancing frequencies; they are “voluntary” in that they must be consciously chosen by you, and they will be chosen by you if it is your intention to raise consciousness, to become increasingly aware of your connection to everyone and everything. This voluntary selection does not require that you know what all of these enhancing frequencies are – there are hundreds of them, and you quite naturally may more fully tap in to certain ones at certain times and not so much at other times.

Enhancing frequency – resolving doubt.

I was asked to write an article on overcoming doubt, and after about ten pages I realized I had dug a hole (about six feet deep) and had said nothing. It was not a waste of time, however, because it taught me something. Doubt is an essential part of life. One does not remove doubt. One does not ignore doubt. One transcends doubt.

I wondered what others had to say about it and concluded this: the dumber you are the less you doubt. Pretty smart of me, huh?

Consider this: “doubt is thought and thought is life. Systems which end doubt are devices for drugging thought,” Albert Guerard. So, according to him, doubt is all that separates us from the sheep.

Or this “Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd,” Voltaire. To me, this clearly states that the only way to remove the possibility of doubt would be to never risk anything. And if you chose that option would you not then doubt the entire point of your life?

And finally, “The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts,” Russell.

I then thought about a quintessential experience of doubt in my life. It was about two years ago and I decided to go fire walking. I felt, let’s see if I can walk the walk since I talk so much of the talk. On the way up my companions and I were uncharacteristically quiet; no DOUBT we were all thinking, “Now, what have I gotten myself into?” It was a profound example of both individual and collective doubt. I was not without spiritual thoughts, but they centered around an image of me as Joan of Arc.

When we got to the four-inch deep burning coals, all of us looked terrified. There was the occasional, faint, mellifluous sound of sobbing. I thought, “What will carry me through this?” And the answer was extraordinary: it was “you will… everyone will”. I looked at the people around me and said, “Here’s the deal. I’ll walk with you, if you walk with me.” Actually, it was a pretty good deal because some people were repeat, veteran firewalkers. (A pretty weird hobby, considering all the fun alternatives). Then I had another insight: “why”, I wondered, “just walk with these people? They’re obviously as crazy as I am. I mean, they’re here, right?” So, I asked the whole world to walk with me. In my belief system, that equals God. God did, they did, and, most importantly, I did, back and forth. I had overcome my doubt and all of you helped me, whether you remember it or not.

Here’s the point: doubt is the human condition. It must be, for without it there would be no room for resolution and no place for courage. Without courage, there is no point in faith. If you doubt this you are in good company.

“If you would be a real seeker after truth, it is necessary that at least once in your life you doubt, as far as possible, all things,” Descartes.

Even Jesus Christ, moments before his death, uttered “My god, My God, Why has thou forsaken me?” Then, in a loud voice, said, “Father, into thy hands I commit my spirit”.

If this is true of an ascendant master, possessed of quantum consciousness, how can we expect more?

In closing, considering my profession, I would certainly not try to help us by increasing the doubt in our lives, despite what I said before this. But, there appears to be room for a frequency that enhances and invites the power of the universe in resolving doubt. I will do my part to help us all achieve success in our resolve.
